A score is not an outcome
Reporting a number back to a general manager is the easy half. The hard, useful half is turning it into something a department head does on Friday — and then proving whether it worked. That loop is the product.
Company
ClubVero exists because the problem it solves is one we lived with for twenty-five years and could never buy our way out of.
Every club already has the data. It's sitting in the POS, and nobody has ever done anything with it except reconcile the till. The observation ClubVero was built on
Private clubs are among the most service-intensive businesses in hospitality. A member pays a joining fee, pays dues every year, and expects a standard of care that a restaurant with a waiting list never has to sustain.
And yet the tooling clubs use to manage that standard has barely moved. An annual satisfaction survey, a comment card, and a membership committee relaying secondhand complaints months after the shift that caused them.
Meanwhile the club's own point-of-sale system knows exactly who was in, which outlet they used, what they spent, and which server looked after them. That record is the most accurate picture of member experience any club holds, and almost none of them use it for anything but accounting.
ClubVero connects that record to the member, and the member's answer to the team's next shift. Not as a report. As a specific action, assigned to a person, checked off, and then measured against the score it was meant to fix.
What we believe
Reporting a number back to a general manager is the easy half. The hard, useful half is turning it into something a department head does on Friday — and then proving whether it worked. That loop is the product.
Four questions, under a minute, no app, no account, one reminder ever. Every design decision that would improve our data at the member's expense loses.
Clubs don't have a CX department and shouldn't need one. If a feature requires someone to write a report or interpret a chart before anything changes on the floor, it isn't finished.
We hold six fields, sell nothing, and never show one club's data to another in identifiable form. A club that regrets giving us their list is a club we failed.
Comparison is only useful against clubs genuinely like yours — same size, same region, same outlet type. Anonymous in both directions, and never worth compromising a club's privacy for.
Who builds it
ClubVero is deliberately small. The people designing it are the people who use it, and the people selling it are the people who answer when something breaks.
Software and integration engineering, with a background in getting data out of systems that would rather keep it. Every parser, cron job and index in ClubVero was written by the person who takes your support call.
Twenty-five years of club management, currently still running a club. Nothing ships that wouldn't survive a Saturday service — and the roadmap is argued out against a real operation, not a persona.
General managers at established private clubs in the US and UK who use ClubVero at their own properties, test what we build against real membership, and tell us plainly when it isn't good enough.
Where we're going
We're upfront about the sequence, because founding partners are buying into it rather than just buying a subscription.
Golf and country clubs across the US, UK and Ireland. Enough properties to make the product durable across different operations, small enough that every club still shapes it.
Once enough comparable clubs are running, your indices stop being a private number and start being a position — against clubs your size, in your region, with your outlet mix.
When thousands of completed actions sit next to the score movement that followed them, we can tell you which interventions actually work — not in theory, but in clubs like yours.
The same problem exists anywhere membership, multiple outlets and a service standard meet. Golf and country clubs are where we start, not where it ends.
